Big thank you to the beautiful Tanith (check out her awesome blog here) for modelling for us and of course to the very handsome Bear for also taking part. (he sneaks in everywhere!)

I worked as a montessori teacher for a number of years before taking a break to work on tabitha, one of the many lessons you concentrate on with the kids is their balance, its simple you get some black tape and their attention (they wig out when its 'balancing time' also with 'scissors' time - give them any form of responsibility or challenge and you are laughing!) You put a long thin line of the tape on the floor and get them to walk on it without coming off. (always one messer who just wants to pick off the tape, of course!)
Well fast forward 20 odd years it is very clear I never got that lesson in pre-school because lads my balance ain't good! I bow down to any woman who can walk around all day in high heels making it look easy peasy and still be uber ladylike. I can't even last a night out in them.
The streets of Dublin are not made for sky scraper heels and as I work and live in the city centre I walk everywhere so comfort is a must. I love my new boots from Clarks. I picked the distressed brown colour because I already have a black pair similar to them and I don't mean to sound like a Granny but my word they are comfy, like two cushions on your feet! Sorted.

We were absolutely delighted to take part in this year's Innocent Big Knit which raises money for the fantastic charity Age Action Ireland. (Check out their charity shops, seriously.. amazing finds!) Since the campaign has started over €60,000 has been raised. 25cent of each hat wearing smoothie goes towards helping the elderly stay warm and well this coming winter so get knitting!
For more information watch the video below and click the website here to see how you can get involved! All hats must be sent to Innocent Ireland by November 30th.
Thank you so much to our lovely friends who came over and helped out with the knitting! It was great fun & we will be knitting a few more over the coming weeks! x
Yesterday we delivered some more 'tabitha's around town and pulled for some shoots next week.
We also visited the Natural History Museum and got our culture on.

I wore my new boots from Clarks. The last pair of shoes I bought in Clarks was when I was about 8 and I got these really cute little flat mary janes. The sole had an image that moved when a key was turned in them. Does anyone remember these shoes? They were awesome. Anyhow, back to 2012, I looove these boots. They are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I did so much walking and not a single teeny bit of discomfort. Result.

Kirsten Dunst... I've watched two of her movies this week, if you are looking to watch something hilarious watch Bachelorette seriously it is so funny. Something completely opposite is "All Good Things" , great movie, Kirsten has awesome clothes in it and if that doesn't sell it for you, Mr. Gosling himself is in it.
Halloween..Yay!!
If you need confirmation again as to why Hocus Pocus is the best ever click here!
Can anyone recommend any good Halloween movies to watch (nothing gorey), I remember blogging about 'The Orphan' and 'The Orphanage' last year..both giving me the absolute creeps now just thinking about them!

Nobody got style like a Swedish blogger. She is swedish right? I can't keep up! If anyone has her link send it, thank you!
So every year around this time , I do a blogpost proclaiming my love for October and Autumn. It's colder, which means we can layer (YAY!) , but not so cold that we have to sacrifice our cute layering for industrial thermals such as in the height of Winter.
It's also darker earlier, which means cosy fires in the evening and warm drinks in our bellies! There's a certainty to this time of year too. We know it's going to be cold and crisp and dark. The false optimism we experience before Summer isn't there. You know the feeling (well especially in Ireland) around May, when the days are getting longer and the smell of freshly cut grass is in the air...you think, "this is going to be the best Summer ever. I will get to wear bare legs every day, work on a tan, be more out-doorsey and generally be a better person." When in reality, you spend most of it sneezing due to your yearly re-occurrence of hayfever ( PESKY FRESHLY CUT GRASS!) and running for shelter as the heavens open on your bare legs , probably washing away some sort of instant tan. Sigh.
Anyhow,Halloween is looming and my attention has been turning to all things goth-like.
I especially love Topshop's 'Witching Hour' , mixing velvets , plums, blacks, embellishments, sequins, crosses, tarnished silvers, leather, feathers and all other sorts of yummy textures.

We were invited along to the gorgeous Merrion Hotel last week, to attend a champagne afternoon tea hosted by Debenhams. We were there to view the stunning lingerie collection on offer in store. The collection ranged from the practical to the down right pretty. Our favourite ones were of course the ones covered in the most bows and frills. We are such girls! Head on over to Debenhams online to take a peek yourself!
