Jumping on the bandwaggon..

So I've been in bed all week with some sorta crazy flu virus. I've been unable to blog until today because the thoughts of looking at pretty things was making me more ill.
So I took the time (which I never normally have) to start watching Mad Men.
I had heard so much about it that I was convinced it wouldn't live up to it's hype.
However I was pleasantly surprised.

This show is set in the early 60's so even the notion of political correctness hasn't entered people's psyche yet. The men are all sexist, drink and smoke all day long in the office, and repeatedly cheat on their wives.They all drink and drive, smoke in their beds.Everyone is homophobic, racist, ageist, size-ist, in fact there isn't an "ist" or an "izm" left unturned.
Nobody is happy , and they're not sure why.Brilliant.

I know everyone is raving about Christina Hendricks , but my favourite lady in the show has to be Betty Draper. Her wardrobe is amazing.
